The Rio Karma MP3 Player lets you change the way you play songs. You can play tracks randomly, make the tracks repeat or cause songs to fade into each other for DJ-quality playback. All you need to do is adjust the Playback settings. Here's how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Rio Karma MP3 Player
Step1
Turn on the Rio Karma MP3 Player. If the power is off, press the Power button and wait for the player to initialize.
Step2
Press the Menu button (above the screen on the left of the player).
Step3
Highlight and select "Settings" from the menu. This will take you to the Settings menu.
Step4
Scroll to "Playback" on the Settings menu and press the Rio Stick to select it. The Playback menu will appear on the screen.
Step5
Turn on the Shuffle mode to play tracks randomly.
Step6
Repeat tracks with Repeat mode. You can play back all tracks by selecting All or a single song by selecting Track. With A/B Loop you can play back a certain portion of a track.
Step7
Fade the songs together with Cross Fade mode. You can cross fade tracks by 1, 2 or 3 seconds so the songs overlap.
Step8
Select "Done" when you are finished to apply the settings. If you want to return to the previous menu without applying the settings, select "Cancel."

Tips & Warnings

  • While in Shuffle mode, all previously played tracks are moved to the back of the order.
  • To select the points of the song to play with A/B Loop, use Rotary Press.
  • To return to normal Playback mode, you must readjust the settings in the Playback menu.
