How to Play Myifee in Ninety-Nine Nights

He’s the big barbarian guy with the giant sword, right? All you need to do is swing, and that’ll be the end of it, right? Wrong. Myifee is a surprisingly difficult character to play. The third character you earn, Myifee will come at a time when you have already gotten used to the game and are starting to refine some better strategies. You’ll need them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

1. Unlock him by playing through Inphyy’s 6th stage, The Phoyla Flatlands.
2. Watch your back! Lots of Myifee’s moves involve throwing his double-bladed sword. This produces a boomerang effect that hits lots of enemies, but leaves him open for quite a long time.
3. Use his normal attack string (X button attacks) when you are surrounded. This only involves swinging the blade, not throwing it. This will help you keep your guard up.
4. Dive between fights by using the right trigger. Myifee is very, very slow. This makes getting places a long process, so speed it up by having him tumble forward.
5. Use his power attack string (Y button attacks) in large crowds that are spread out. This will give his wide, sweeping strokes the best effect.
6. Pop Myifee’s Orb attack when you are surrounded and in need of some heavy hitting! This attack sends Myifee pounding twice in your chosen direction. After he pounds, he can be turned around before he hammers again. This is best used on multiple mobs of enemies, as the attacks have a huge range.
7. Use Myifee’s Orb spark attack only when you are being charged by whole armies. This attack gives little in the way of close support, but does call down a rain of meteors in a large area around Myifee. This is great for taking out whole armies before they get to you, but unfortunately does little for the armies you are already engaged with.
