How to Participate in World PvP in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
Like the Eastern Plaguelands, each province of Outland has several world PvP objectives that are not only the object of quests, but the only route to getting Marks of Honor with specific places like Honor Hold or Shattrath. World PvP will also yield faction reputation and a chance to kill enemy players outside the battlegrounds (if you happen to be playing on a non-PvP server.) Learn how to do it.

1
Flag yourself for PvP. Type "/PvP on" to flag yourself for PvP combat. You can now capture objectives, but you will be open to attack from enemy players. You will remain flagged until five minutes after you type "/PvP off."
-
2
Find a group. Attempting to capture PvP objectives alone is almost certain suicide. Chances are high that the other side is watching the objectives. If your side is currently holding all of them, they won't be for long.

-
3
Grab the quests. In each province, there is at least one quest that involves capturing the PvP objectives. Make sure you get this before you set out.
- 4
- 5
-
6
Watch the meter in the upper right hand corner. This will indicate how close your side is to capturing the objective.
-
7
Defend the objective! In order to successfully take all the objectives, you will have to find some folks to safeguard the ones you have already captured. Leaving them open will allow the enemy to simply come back and capture it without a fight. Do not let this happen!
-
8
Grind it! Capturing PvP objectives over and over can provide you with reputation for your faction! Check the local Quartermaster to see what items are available for your reputation level. You may find some pretty nice stuff!
