The monitor settings on the most DVD players are easy to change. Find out how to change the monitor settings on the Panasonic DVD-LV57 Portable DVD player.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Set up the DVD player according to the instructions.

  2. Step 2

    Decide what you want to change. You can change the size of the picture, adjust the brightness or adjust the color intensity.

  3. Step 3

    Change the size of the picture by pressing the "Monitor" button once. This will bring up the menu for Picture Size. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to change the size.

  4. Step 4

    Adjust the brightness by pressing the "Monitor" button twice. This brings up the Brightness menu. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to adjust the brightness.

  5. Step 5

    Adjust the color intensity by pressing the "Monitor" button three times. From the Color Intensity menu, use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to make the colors more or less intense.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make as many changes as you want. Just keep playing with the settings until the settings are just right.
  • The changes you make to the monitor settings only effect the movies you watch on the DVD player. If you hook the player up to a television, your settings will not carry over.
