Now that we’ve gotten the basics down, let's move on to instructions for those with Zune software or Windows Media Connect.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Using Zune to Share Media with Your 360

Step1
Download Zune if you do not have Windows Media Player 11 or Windows Media Connect.
Step2
Install Zune.
Step3
Select the media you wish to share with your 360 during the setup process. You can share video, picture or music files.
Step4
Click on the 360 console followed by "Allow."

Sharing Media with Your 360 if You've Already Installed Zune

Step1
Open Zune and look for the "Options" tab.
Step2
Click on "Library" and then "Media Sharing."
Step3
Select "Share My Media."
Step4
Choose the media that you want to share with your 360 and then click "OK."

Sharing Media with Your Xbox 360 Using Windows Media Connect

Step1
Use Windows Media Connect to stream video, music and pictures to your 360.
Step2
Download Windows Media Player 11 if you have Windows Media Connect, but do not know how to use it. Support for Windows Media Connect is no longer available, as the program has been integrated into Media Player 11.
