How to Use your Xbox 360 as a Media Center with Zune

Now that we've gotten the basics down, let's move on to instructions for those with Zune software or Windows Media Connect.

Instructions

  1. Using Zune to Share Media with Your 360

      Download Zune if you do not have Windows Media Player 11 or Windows Media Connect.

      Install Zune.

      Select the media you wish to share with your 360 during the setup process. You can share video, picture or music files.

      Click on the 360 console followed by "Allow."

      Open Zune and look for the "Options" tab.

      Click on "Library" and then "Media Sharing."

      Select "Share My Media."

      Choose the media that you want to share with your 360 and then click "OK."

      Use Windows Media Connect to stream video, music and pictures to your 360.

      Download Windows Media Player 11 if you have Windows Media Connect, but do not know how to use it. Support for Windows Media Connect is no longer available, as the program has been integrated into Media Player 11.
