How to Install a Battery into the Bose Quiet Comfort 3 Noise Canceling Headphones

The Bose Quiet Comfort 3 Headphones deliver unexcelled sound quality by cancelling out ambient noises in your environment. The headphones contain a miniature "white noise" generator that detects low frequency noise in your surroundings and automatically generates an equal but opposite frequency to counteract the noise. They come with a rechargeable battery that will deliver up to 20 hours of listening pleasure when fully charged. To insert the battery into the Bose Headphones, follow the steps below.

Things You'll Need:

• Bose battery charger and rechargable battery (comes with Bose headphones)

1. Make sure that the power is turned off to the headphones.

2. Locate the battery compartment on the outside of the right earcup.

3. Hold the right earcup between the thumb and forefinger.

4. Slide the battery into the compartment.

5. Push the battery in until the outer edge is flush with the outside of the earcup.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure to fully charge the battery before its first use for best performance, and recharge the battery before putting it away.
• Replace the rechargeable battery with a new one when it doesn’t have the capacity to power the headphones even after a full charge.
• Do not store the battery in the charger unit.
