How to Preset Your Favorite Stations on Your Sony WMFS593 Sports Walkman

The Sony WMFS593 Sports Walkman is designed especially for the outdoors, with rubber gaskets, bushings and water-resistant seals that help keep out water, moisture and dirt. This model allows you to set five stations for each of the four bands so that you can your favorites easily.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Purchase and install two AA batteries in the battery compartment.
2. Make sure the Hold function is turned off. You can turn it off by sliding the switch to the "Off" position.
3. Locate the Control Pad and push Band/Radio On to turn on the radio. Push it repeatedly to select the band you want (FM1, FM2, FM3 or AM).
4. Tune to the station you would like to preset by pressing Tuning +/-. (Press and hold Tuning "+" or "-" if you would like the device to tune stations automatically.)
5. Press and hold the number button for two seconds once you have arrived at a station you would like to preset. You will hear a beep and see the display flash twice. The station is now preset.
