How to Select a preset station from the memory presets on your Sangean DT-300-VW Pocket Sized Digital Radio

This Sangean model is designed to provide you with hours of entertainment. If you would like to listen to the radio, follow this procedure. Then, you can manually preset stations in order to find quickly your favorite stations. Once the stations are preset, follow these directions to find them.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Locate the headphone jack on the radio.

  2. Step 2

    Attach the headphones to the jack you located in step one.

  3. Step 3

    Turn the power on to your Sangean.

  4. Step 4

    Select the band you would like to listen to by pressing Band.

  5. Step 5

    Pressing band once leads you to AM stations.

  6. Step 6

    Pressing the band twice leads you to FM1 stations.

  7. Step 7

    Pressing the band three times leads you to FM2 stations.

  8. Step 8

    Pressing the band four times leads you to TV stations.

  9. Step 9

    When you have reached the desired band, press the Select Button in order to move the select cursor to the Memory Positions.

  10. Step 10

    Choose the preset station you would like to hear by using the Memory Up/Down buttons.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are listening to your Sangean in a car or building, you may want to stand near a window to increase the quality of the radio's reception.
  • If you need to clean your Sangean, use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • Do not every leave your Sangean in a car parked in the sun.
  • Exposure to moisture, sand, mechanical shock, and dust can also lead to damage.
  • If you find that liquid or a solid object has fallen into your Sangean take out the battery and have the device checked by a professional.
