The Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player has the ability to play MP3 files. The MP3 format allows you to store many songs on one CD. If you want to play an MP3 CD with the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player, follow these instructions.

Things You'll Need:

  • Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player
  • MP3 CD
  1. Step 1

    Turn the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player power on. There is a power switch located on the side.

  2. Step 2

    Press the “Open” button on the front of the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player. Wait for the disc cover to open fully.

  3. Step 3

    Insert the MP3 CD into the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player. Ensure that the MP3 CD is inserted with the data-side down.

  4. Step 4

    Close the cover of the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player. Press “Stop” to access the MP3 CD’s menu.

  5. Step 5

    Go to the “Play Mode Column” using the “Left/Right” arrows. Then use the “Up/Down” arrows to highlight “Play Mode.” Select “Play Mode” by pressing either the “Left” or “Right” arrow.

  6. Step 6

    Select a directory. Use the “Up/Down” arrows to select an MP3 directory then press “Enter” to confirm.

  7. Step 7

    Play the songs in the directory by pressing the “Play” button. You can skip songs by using the “Fast Forward” and “Reverse” buttons.

Tips & Warnings
  • Not all CDR and CDR/W discs are compatible with the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8” Portable DVD Player. The discs require certain formatting and may not work on all computers.
