How to Rotate a JPEG Image Using the Sony DVP-NS50P CD/DVD Player

It's helpful to be able to rotate photos on a CD. The Sony DVPNS50P CD/DVD Player makes it easy. Here is how to rotate pictures with this player.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sony DVP-NS50P CD/DVD Player
  • Photo CD
Step1
Place your photo CD into the Sony DVPNS50P player.
Step2
Press “Menu” to pull up the list of albums on the disc. Use the “Up” and “Down” arrow buttons to select the album you wish to open.
Step3
Choose a picture you would like to view.
Step4
Use the arrow keys to select the picture and press “Enter.”
Step5
Press the “Up” arrow key to rotate the picture. The picture will rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise each time the arrow key is pressed. Press the “Down” arrow key to reverse the rotation.
Step6
Rotate the picture as many times as you like.

Tips & Warnings

  • Press the “Clear” button to return to a normal view after you are finished rotating the picture.
  • Choose “Previous Album” to return to the CD's list of photo albums. You cannot use the back arrow key to do this.
  • Picture CDs come with the same risks as any other CD. The player may not read the disc if it is scratched or damaged.
