Step 1
Choose an eyepiece depending on the magnification level you desire.

Locate the thumbscrews on the focus tube of your telescope and loosen them.

Insert the diagonal into the focus tube and replace the thumbscrews. This will secure the diagonal at its right place. A 45 degree erect image diagonal is ideal for this telescope.

Step 4
Locate the thumbscrews on the diagonal and loosen them up.

Step 5
Insert the eyepiece in the diagonal and tighten the thumbscrews. Your eyepiece is now in place and you can focus the objects that you want to view from the telescope.
