A Sky-Watcher SK909AZ3 Refractor Telescope is an ideal choice for those who intend to view objects in the sky minutely. This model is equipped with an adjustable objective lens case which is a multi-coated achromatic type. For "prime focus" photography, a camera adapter tube should be attached directly to your telescope. Using a camera adapter tube with the Sky-Watcher telescope can help to better view objects.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Locate the T-threads on the eyepiece holder. The camera adapter tube has similar T-threads on it.
Step2
Take the camera adapter tube and carefully place it in such a way that the T-threads on the eyepiece and the T-threads on the camera adapter tube match easily.
Step3
Attach a specific T-adapter ring for your camera on the other side of the camera adapter tube. This junction allows you to connect your camera to the telescope. The telescope now functions as the new lens of your camera.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take care that the focal length is extended in case the refractors are designed to be used with diagonals while attaching a camera.
  • Loosen and tighten the screws only in daylight or at a place where there is enough light. This will ensure that you don’t loose any of the screws.
  • Make sure that you do not touch any optical surface while assembling your telescope. It can be tarnished.
  • Use special lens cleaning paper to clean the lens.
