Step 1
Locate the focus knobs present on your telescope assembly.

Turn the knobs gently while looking at the object simultaneously.

Get the sharpest possible image by turning the knobs. Your focusing will be appropriate when you reach a point where the sharpness of the image decreases on turning the knob either in the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.

Step 4
Make sure that you do the focusing again after changing your eyepiece or while adding or removing a Barlow lens. In such a situation, you are likely to get a blurred image after a change of eyepiece, which can be taken care of by proper refocusing.

Step 5
Note that any change in stability of the telescope or tripod movement will require you to refocus.
