The Sky-Watcher SK909AZ3 refractor telescope is an ideal choice for all those who desire to do serious sky watching. This telescope comes with an aluminum tripod that is part of a quick and neat assembly. The tripod height ranges from 71 to 123 centimeters and can be adjusted for every need.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Choose an area with adequate room for assembling your telescope.
Step2
Loosen the height adjustment clamp. This will allow you to spread the tripod legs for stable positioning on the ground.
Step3
Use the height adjustment clamps to increase the length of the tripod legs for proper leveling.
Step4
Arrange the tripod legs slowly for an appropriate angle to view the desired object(s).
Step5
Adjust two legs of the tripod at a time for easy leveling, keeping the third leg at a constant level.
Step6
Tighten the clamps for a secure position of the tripod legs.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure that the clamping is done after you have ascertained that the assembly is in exactly the position that you wish.
  • Try to assemble your telescope on a relatively even surface on the ground. Uneven surfaces will require more time to align the assembly.
