How to Connect the Video Cords of the Sony DVP-NC615 CD/DVD Player

You can connect your Sony to a TV monitor, AV amplifier or projector. Follow these steps to attach the video cords to video input jack.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Attach the yellow plug from the audio/video cord that came with your Sony to the yellow jacks on the device you are connecting.
Step2
Attach the red plugs from the video cord and the device.
Step3
Attach the white plug from the video cord to the white outlet on the device.
Step4
If you are connecting a device that has component video input jacks, you will need to purchase a component video cord, as it is not included in your Sony packaging.
Step5
If you are connecting to a device with an S VIDEO input jack, you will need to purchase an S VIDEO cord, as it is not included in your Sony packaging.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only use the AC power adapter that came with your Sony.
  • If you experience interference with your radio or television while the Sony is plugged in, move the Sony away from the radio or television.
  • It is best to unplug your Sony if you will not be using the device for an extended period of time.
  • In order to avoid a shock or a fire, do not let your Sony be exposed to moisture.
  • Only allow qualified personnel to open the cabinet of your Sony. If you open it yourself, you run the risk of an electrical shock. In addition, you could permanently harm your eyes with the laser beam.
  • Be sure that you line up the wide blade of the plug to the wide opening in the socket in order to avoid shock.
