Video surveillance cameras in homes increase in popularity every year. As the culture of crime increases, people feel strongly lead to increase security in their home offices to protect their professional property. If you have decided that a hidden camera in your home office will suit your needs, follow these instructions for installation.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Decide where you will hide the camera. Options for a home office or study include a pin hole in the wall, a stuffed animal (depending on your type of business), a small hole in a picture, etc. If you do introduce an item into the room such as a stuffed animal, be sure it is relevant to your business so as not to arouse suspicion.
Step2
Decide the best angle for the camera.
Step3
Decide how high off the floor the camera needs to be.
Step4
Prepare the object you will be hiding the camera in. So, if you are going to hide the camera in a pin hole in the wall, create the pin hole. If you will be using a small hole in a picture, create that hole, etc.
Step5
Insert the batteries into the camera.
Step6
Insert the hidden camera into the object you prepared.
Step7
Secure the camera according to the manufacturer's directions.
Step8
Ensure that the camera is hidden. For example, move a plant in front of a pin hole in the wall but move the branches so the camera has a clear view, etc.
Step9
Sync the hidden camera with the base station.
Step10
Install any software on your computer that accompanied the hidden camera.
