Make sure that the power source to your CB radio is connected and activated. Many vehicles and some home systems have a switch to cut off the power to the unit.

Make sure that the microphone and antenna are connected correctly.

Find the power and volume knob on the front panel of your radio, to the right of the microphone jack.

Turn the On/Off/Volume knob to the right and adjust the volume appropriately.
