How to Power On the Cobra CB Radio

After you set up your Cobra CB radio, you will want to power it up to make sure that everything is connected correctly and functioning properly—and, of course, so you can start using it! Here's how.

• Cobra CB radio

1. Make sure that the power source to your CB radio is connected and activated. Many vehicles and some home systems have a switch to cut off the power to the unit.

2. Make sure that the microphone and antenna are connected correctly.

3. Find the power and volume knob on the front panel of your radio, to the right of the microphone jack.

4. Turn the On/Off/Volume knob to the right and adjust the volume appropriately.

• Don't turn up the volume too loud; this could damage not only your CB radio, but your hearing!
