      Turn off the power to the fixture at the circuit breaker box.

      Remove the old fixture. Begin by removing the bulbs and shades.

      Disconnect the wires from the old fixture.

      Make sure that 3/4 inch of copper conductor wire is available. Twist the line wire end with the wire to the new fixture. Screw a wire connector over the twisted ends to secure the connection.

      Insert the mounting screws into the attachment holes by turning a few times to secure. Mount the new fixture and rotate to secure it.

      Tighten the screws of the fixture. Finish the installation by attaching the bulbs and shades.

      Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker box.
