There will be times when you need to display only a portion of your Excel 2003 spreadsheet to make your point. Follow these steps to print selected areas of your spreadsheet.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Microsoft Excel 2003

Step1
Open your Excel worksheet and select the area you want to print. To select, hold down the left mouse button and drag your mouse over the area.
Step2
Right click on the selected area to summon a small pop-up menu of options.
Step3
Select “Print” from the menu to bring up the print menu and select “Print Selected Area.”
Step4
Click “Print” to print the selected section.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your selection does not include parts of the area you wish to print, click “Cancel” and try again.
  • Use "Print Preview" under "File" in the toolbar before printing to catch any mistakes.
