3
Locate the RAM slot that is situated on the left side of your machine.
-
4
Remember, if your machine has an internal Bluetooth module installed, its antenna will be right above your RAM slot. You will have to remove it first to install the RAM.
-
5
Look for the screw situated between your existing RAM and the antenna. Loosen that screw slowly and slightly move the antenna away. Ensure that the antenna remains attached to the machine.
-
6
Remove the existing RAM carefully. To do so, push down the black colored latches that hold the RAM module. Remember that the latch at the left side is less flexible than the one on the right side of the module. Detach the RAM from the right side first and then the left side.
-
7
Insert your new RAM into its socket in the same position of the earlier RAM. Gently push it until you hear "snap" sounds from both the latches.
-
8
Place the Bluetooth antenna back to its place and tighten the screw between the RAM and antenna.
-
9
Slide the case back to the machine. Ensure that the case fits well into all the clips.
-
10
Switch on your machine and check that the RAM is working properly.
