How to Check the Amount of Memory Your Computer Has

Computer memory determines amount of data you can store on your machine. If your computer has less memory, the system can crash while running memory intensive programs.       Turn your computer on and wait for Windows to load.

      Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties." Doing so will open up "Systems Properties."

      Press on the "General" tab. Here you will view the physical memory installed on your computer. The amount indicated is the total RAM installed on your computer. It is measured in MB or GB.
