Celebrating Coming of Age Day

Step1
If anyone you know has turned twenty over the past year, celebrate with them. In Japan, they are now considered old enough to take their place in society as an adult.
Step2
Go out and party if it is your day of majority and enjoy your freedom for the day.
Step3
Give gifts to any family member turning 20 in the coming year.
Step4
If no one in the family is turning 20, talk about the meaning of the day instead.
Step5
Dress up and attend one of the public ceremonies.
