Bridal expos are a great place to find ideas for your wedding, or to just look around and see all the new trends. With all the vendors and services you need in one place, a wedding showcase like the Bellevue Bridal Expo can be a big time-saver. Many couples can plan their entire wedding in a single weekend with the help of bridal shows like this one. The Bellevue Wedding Expo is held near downtown Seattle, Washington at the end of January.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tickets are a little over $10 per person, with a discount if you buy online tickets in advance.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to the Expo, since you'll be spending a lot of time on your feet.
  • Take a camera along. When you're talking with salespeople at your bridal store, a photo will help you explain what you want.
  • Carry a notebook and pen for writing down details about photographers and other wedding service providers. You'll talk to a lot of vendors while you're at the Expo and, while you can get their business cards for contact details, it's good to have a notebook handy to note any other important information.
  • Bring your checkbook with you in case you want to book any services.
  • Spend your time wisely. If you've already got certain services booked, don't waste your time looking at vendors with those services (you'll only end up worrying about whether or not you chose the right one!)
  • If you're hoping to organize your entire wedding at the Expo, you'll need to do some advance preparation. Draw up a budget before you go and decide which aspects of the wedding you don't want to change and what you're willing to compromise on.
