As you use eBay, you will often find a seller who deals in items that are of particular interest to you. When you find a seller you like, eBay makes it possible and easy to follow that seller’s other auctions. Here is how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer

Step1
Visit eBay. The eBay homepage is full of popular items, seasonal gifts and basic information on eBay’s services. The Search window is also centrally located at the top of the homepage. This is where you will begin.
Step2
When you find an auction with a seller who you would like to do further business with, you can access his or her member profile by clicking on the username. The username itself is a link that will send you to a user profile.
Step3
From the auction page, or from the seller’s member profile, find the link that will send you to the seller's other auctions. These auctions will appear in the same way as other search results and can be accessed and sorted in the same fashion as well.
Step4
Visit the seller’s eBay store. An icon in the shape of a small red door signifies that a seller has an eBay store. To enter the seller’s store, simply click on the red door.
Step5
Ask the seller questions. Inside the seller’s eBay store you will find contact information. This store serves primarily as an access point to the seller's online business. You will find the seller's email address and contact information on this page.
Step6
Check the seller’s feedback. Clicking on the seller’s username will allow you to access feedback history. Next to the seller’s username will be a rating. This rating is the percentage of the seller's transactions that were rated as positive.

Tips & Warnings

  • EBay stores will often provide you with more reliable contact information, as they serve as an advertisement for the seller’s online business.
  • By communicating with the seller, you may be able to bundle items in different auctions to minimize your shipping and handling costs.
  • The Internet is full of unreliable and dishonest people. Feedback is an important tool to help you avoid them.
