An eyepiece is the final lens attached to the telescope. The eyepiece collects light and brings it in focal point, which helps create an image. It is named so because it is closest to the eye when looking through the telescope. It enlarges the image, which is formed by the first lens. The amount of magnification produced by the telescope depends on the focal length of the eyepiece. The eyepiece is placed at the focal point of the telescope. To put it more concisely, an eyepiece is the final lens that the user looks through. Here is how to insert the eyepiece into the Sky-Watcher Tabletop Telescope.
