eBay has made buying and selling automobiles a highly organized process with the introduction of eBay Motors, a branch of eBay reserved primarily for vehicles, vehicular parts and accessories. If you're looking for car, follow these steps to browse the eBay lot.

1. Visit eBay Motors, a "Specialty Site" that can be found in the upper left corner of eBay’s homepage.

2. Begin your search. eBay Motors works exactly like eBay. The searching process uses the same search boxes, and the browsing process is categorized and linked in much the same way. To begin a search, simply type what you are looking for into the text box at the top of the screen and click “Enter.”

3. Find a passenger vehicle. Use the search tool to find available passenger vehicles based on the year they were assembled, their make and/or model. All of these descriptive options are available in the “Advanced Search."

4. Find a motorcycle. Use the motorcycles category in "Advanced Search" to focus your search on motorcycles only.

5. Find vehicle parts and accessories. Choose the "Parts & Accessories" search when you want to buy these items.

• Find trustworthy sellers. A purchase from eBay Motors is likely to be an expensive one. It is best not to rush into a bid without checking the seller’s ranking and feedback history.
