How to Bookmark a Blog Post

Bookmarking a blog makes it easier to find again and check for updates. Here's how to do it.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Locate the blog you are interested in bookmarking.

  2. Step 2

    If you use Firefox as your Web browser, press "Ctrl" and "d" at the same time.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the "Show All Bookmarks" down arrow.

  4. Step 4

    Select the file in which you'd like to store the bookmark. If the file does not exist, select "New Folder."

  5. Step 5

    Name the new folder.

  6. Step 6

    Select the "OK" button.

  7. Step 7

    Select that file on your "Add Bookmark" page and your bookmark will be added.

  8. Step 8

    If you are using Internet Explorer as your Web browser, right click on the Web page.

  9. Step 9

    Select "Add to Favorites." Click on the drop-down menu and select the folder you wish to add the blog to.

  10. Step 10

    If the folder does not exist, click "New Folder."

  11. Step 11

    Type a name for the new folder and press "OK."

  12. Step 12

    Select the folder from the "Create in" list and click "OK."

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to keep a minimalist approach to top-level folders.
  • You can use special characters when making bookmarks, which can help you find them easily.
