Permalinks are permanent links to your posts that are scannable, which means search engines can index them. If you want permalinks in your Blogger posts, follow these steps.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  • Blogger account
Step1
Open your favorite Web browser.

Step2
Log into your Blogger account.

Step3
Click on the "Posting" link in the middle of the screen.

Step4
Write your post.

Step5
Place   inside the post.

Step6
Place # in the footer of the post.

Step7
Save the post.

Tips & Warnings

  • Standard Blogger templates already contain this functionality. You must add this only if you have created your own Blogger template.
  • Adding HTML to your post can cause strange effects. Make sure to preview your posts and edit the HTML when necessary.
