How to get baby-soft lips
Your lips are subject to daily use and abuse. Between sunshine, drying climate controls, acidic foods, nervous habits and lipstick, lips can easily become cracked, chapped or dry. But while few women include their lips in daily skin-care routines -- aside from slapping on a coat of balm or checking them while brushing teeth or removing makeup -- a bit of daily TLC will bring your lips back to their natural state: smooth, healthy and baby soft. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Mix a teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of sesame or olive oil in a glass dish. Gently rub the paste onto your lips to exfoliate dead and peeling skin. Rinse well with warm water and pat lips dry. Repeat exfoliation routine once or twice a week.

2
Mix a few teaspoons of crushed strawberries with an equal amount of honey to create a nutrient-rich mask that exfoliates using the natural acids in the berries. Spread onto your lips monthly and allow to stand for five minutes. Rinse lips with warm water and pat dry.

3
Pat a slice of fresh cucumber against your newly exfoliated lips. The water and nutrients in the cucumber help moisturize and condition lips.

4
Spread a thin layer of sesame or olive oil onto your lips as you'd apply lip balm. These oils are more moisturizing than most balms. Allow the oil to remain on your lips for 10 to 15 minutes, then pat away a washcloth. Reapply whenever lips feel dry or when you're going into wind or a drying air-conditioned or heated environment.

Drink an adequate amount of water daily to help keep lips hydrated and moisturized.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid licking your lips. Licking your lips actually dries them out and leaves them prone to chapping or cracking.
