Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Blogger account
Step1
Go to FreeStats (see Resources below).
Step2
Enter a user name and click "Sign-up Now."

Select either the Free Statistics counter or, if you want more detailed statistics, one of the fee-based option packages.
Step4
Enter the required registration information, including your name, your email address and the Web address of your Blogger blog.
Step5
Copy the code that's generated. You will paste this code into your blog template.
Step6
Log in to your Blogger account and click on "Template."
Step7
Click on "Add a Page Element."
Step8
Select the "Add to Blog" button under "HTML/JavaScript" on the New Page Element window.
Step9
Paste the code you copied into the content block and select "Save Changes."
Step10
Track the number of visitors to your blog by logging in to your FreeStats account and clicking on "Traffic."

Tips & Warnings

  • You can upgrade to a fee-based package at any time if you decide you want more tracking information.
  • Do not modify the code for the counter. If you do, it will not function properly.
