How to Creatively Give Cuff Links to a Man

When you want to give your one-and-only a gift that's as special and unique as he is, cuff links may be the last thing on your list. But with a few personal touches and a creative presentation, giving cuff links doesn’t have to be a cop-out.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Bakery box
• Ribbon and note card
• Frog prince cuff links
• Cupcake tower
• Scale and sugar
• Red velvet cupcakes

1. Buy him a set of “frog prince” cuff links from RedEnvelope (see Resources below) to let him know you think he’s a prince.
2. Present them as the "cherry" on top of a red velvet cupcake. Pick up a dozen or half-dozen cakes at a bakery or grocery store (you may have to order them in advance; the red velvet variety are not always made every day) and make sure to get them in a nice-looking bakery box (in case that is the box you use as the gift presentation).
3. Try one of these presentation choices:
   
   • Wrap a ribbon around the bakery box and write a love note directly on the box.
   • Find an old-fashioned scale, fill the top of it with sugar, then place the cupcakes in the sugar.
   • Place them in an industrial-looking toolbox.
   • Buy a cupcake tower, fill it with cupcakes, then put the one cupcake with the cuff links on it on the top.
4. Include a note that causes some “action”! “Let’s practice turning you into a prince. I hear all it takes is one great kiss, but I’m not sure I’ll get it right the first time!”
