Your classes should include: speaking skills, listening skills, reading skills, grammar skills, and writing skills. If you teach a 1 hour class, focus on one skill per class. If you teach a 2, 3, or 4 hour class, include more skills in each class.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If you give homework, correct it and review it during the next class.

    • Use pictures and other props.

    • Push your students. If you help them succeed, they will succeed.

    • Your first few classes define the tone of the class. If you are lax on student behavior, expect them to misbehave.

    • Be friendly to your students but don't be their friend. You may have to discipline them or give them a failing grade.
