How to Deal With Comment Spam on a Blogger Blog

If you keep up to date with your blog or if you simply use it to put forth ideas, you're going to generate some spam. Unscrupulous Web site owners will place comments on your blog with links to their own sites. Follow these steps to deal with this problem.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Start up your favorite web browser.

  2. Step 2

    Log in to Blogger.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the "Posting" link in the middle of the screen.

  4. Step 4

    Click on the "Moderate Comments" tab on your screen.

  5. Step 5

    Select the comment you want to modify.

  6. Step 6

    Reject spam.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you need to, you can enable coding to verify any user who wants to post a comment. This will eliminate some computer-generated spam.
  • Once you've eliminated a comment, it cannot be retrieved. It's gone forever.
