How to Add Title Tags to a Blogger Template

Want to be sure that your posts have titles? Add title tags to your Blogger Template. Follow these steps to find out how.

Instructions

1. Log into your Blogger account and go to "Dashboard."
   

2. Go to "Settings: Formatting" and turn "Titles" on.

3. Go to the main template for your blog by selecting "Template." Then select "Edit HTML." Find the following tags: "" and "."

4. Enter the following tags between them: "," "<$BlogItemTitle$>" and "."

5. Save changes to your template and republish your blog.

Tips & Warnings

• The best place to enter your title tags are between the "<$BlogDateHeaderDate$>" and "<$BlogItemBody$>" tags.
