How to Add H1 Tags to a Blogger Template

H1 tags increase the size of your font by making text the size of a headline. Follow these steps to add headline fonts to your Blogger Template.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log into your Blogger account. Go to "Dashboard."

  2. Step 2

    Select "Template." Select "Edit HTML."

  3. Step 3

    Scroll through template code to find the text you want to change.

  4. Step 4

    Replace the HTML tags around that text with "

    " to turn on the headline and "

    " to turn it off again.

  5. Step 5

    Save changes and republish your blog.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always make sure you save a complete copy of your Blogger template before making changes. This way, you can get back to where you started from if you need to.
  • Proof the changes you make to the template by using the "Preview" option before saving.
  • Always make sure you use the "" tag to go back to your normal font.
