Only one star is chosen manually by the observer from the largedata base of Autostar.
Complete Step 1 through 9, unless you have completed the initialization procedure then complete Step 6 through 9.
Enter the correct time along with choosing either AM, PM, or 24-hour clock(blank), then enter.

Choose "Yes" or "No" for Daylight Savings, then press enter.
Step6
Select Alignment "Align One Star" from setup menu and press enter.
Step7
Place the telescope in the home position.
Step8
Chose the star from the database "Select Star" using the scroll keys and press enter.
Tips & Warnings
Once aligned only use Autostar program (keys) to move the telescope; when loosening the bolts, screws or moving the telescope, alignment could be lost.

Knowledge of the night sky will aid the observer in manually choosing a star for alignment.
The "Telescope: Mount" option does not need to be selected.
Verify that "INITIALIZING AUTOSTAR"has been performed before aligning the telescope.
