Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Internet access
- Computer
- iPod
Step1
Find an audiobook. The official source is the iTunes Store and audible.com, but you can also get them from online book stores as well.
Step2
Connect your iPod. Plug your USB cable or iPod dock into your machine and then into your iPod.
Step3
Open iTunes. Double-click the icon if it doesn't start automatically.
Step4
Sync your iPod. Your iPod updates automatically by default, so all you need to do is wait for it to finish syncing. If your iPod does not sync automatically, select “File” then “Sync iPod.”
Step5
Load the audiobooks manually. To set this option, click the “iPod” icon and open the “iPod Settings.” Select the "Manually Manage Music and Video" section from the “Summary” tab.
Step6
Drag and drop audiobooks. Click on "Audiobooks" from the source list on the left (you may need to expand some folders to find it). Drag the audiobook from the list on the right to your iPod icon.
Step7
Disconnect your iPod. Hit the “Eject” button next to your iPod icon and wait until the "Do not Disconnect" display disappears.
Step8
Choose an audiobook. From the iPod menu, choose “Music” then “Audiobooks” and then select which audiobook you would like to listen to.
