How to Import MP3 Files into the Music Library of Your Creative Zen MP3 Player

Importing files to your Creative Zen MP3 Player can be a very useful application. You will be able to transport files to and from school, work and play. By following these steps, you will be able to import your files with ease.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Connect your device to your computer with the USB cable.

  2. Step 2

    Double click "My Computer" on your desktop computer.

  3. Step 3

    Select the "Creative Media Explorer" icon.

  4. Step 4

    Click the "Import Media" button. Follow the directions that appear on the screen.

  5. Step 5

    Select the "Transfer Documents" button in order to transfer data files to your MP3 device.

  6. Step 6

    Use the drag and drop method to locate and copy your files from your computer to your MP3 player.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can copy tracks, videos, photographs, data files, or television recordings onto your player from your computer by dragging and dropping.
  • If you are going to import television recordings, you must convert them by using "Creative Video Converter."
  • If you import a video, look for it under "Videos" in the "Video" section. Look for television shows under the "TV" in the "Videos" section.
  • Creative MediaSource allows you to transfer media files to Creative Zen MP3 Players.
