How to Add AdSense Ads to a WordPress Blog

Adsense is an advertising program. It allows you to market relevant material on your blog. You get paid when people visit your website and click on the ads. You can make changes to your ads without having to change the code. Check the "Reports" tab on the AdSense website to see how well your ad is doing. Just make sure you respond to your confirmation e-mail to finish the application process.

Instructions

Step1
Copy the Adsense code from your Adsense account.
Step2
Go to wordpress.com. Create an account or sign in.
Step3
After you have finished the regisration process (if applicable), create a new blog.
Step4
While in the "Dashboard", click on the "Write" tab.
Step5
Click on the "Write Post" tab. In the body of the blog, paste your Adsense code.
Step6
You can then edit the rest of your blog and publish it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Go to your main AdSense site and log in to make any changes regarding your payment options or other personal information.
  • Your ads will be PSA's until your e-mail address is confirmed and your AdSense application is approved. You will not be paid for PSA's.
  • Whenever you make a change, you may notice a delay.
