Step 1
Connect your iPod. Use the USB cable to connect your iPod to the computer.

Open up iTunes. When iTunes does not launch automatically, double-click the icon.

Click your iPod icon in iTunes. Find it in the device list. This will open the settings.

Step 4
Click the "Music" tab. Check "Sync Music" and select "All Songs and Playlists." Click "Apply."

Step 5
Click "File" and "Sync iPod." Should your iPod have a name, the option will be "Sync
." -
Step 6
Wait for your iPod to finish updating. There will be a status bar displayed while your iPod updates.

Step 7
Disconnect your iPod. Hit the "Eject" button next to your iPod icon and wait for the "Do not Display" message to go away.

on 5/14/2009 My Ipod (30Gb 5th Gen. ) does not sync to Itunes. It goes through the process then it says cannot sync error 48 why is this happening

on 12/13/2008 Help!!when i "sync" it says that my ipod cant be synced, the required disk can not be found. What does this mean, i dont get it.Does anybody know whats going on?Ryneh13@live.com
