How to Find Videos to Watch on an iPod

Using the iTunes Store, you can find videos to watch on your iPod. Expand your digital library beyond videos on your hard drive and download music videos, TV shows and movies to watch on your iPod video. Follow these steps to find videos to watch on an iPod.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open up iTunes. Alternately, connect your iPod and it will launch automatically.

  2. Step 2

    Access the iTunes Store. Simply click the "iTunes Store" icon from the "Source" list.

  3. Step 3

    Set up an account. Click "Sign in" and then select "Create New Account." Follow the directions to sign up.

  4. Step 4

    Sign in. Use your new account information to sign in.

  5. Step 5

    Browse. Check out the "Top Movies," "Top TV episodes" and "Top Music Videos" panes. Poke around and click some links to see what is available.

  6. Step 6

    Search. Type a search term in the box (such as a TV series or artist). You will get a list of matches. Select the closest one that meets your search criteria.

  7. Step 7

    Add to your cart. Once you find a video you want, click "Add to Cart."

  8. Step 8

    Checkout. Click the shopping cart on "Source" list and verify your pending purchases. Click "Buy Now" to purchase. Once you purchase, the download will begin automatically and will appear in your iTunes library.

  9. Step 9

    Import from your hard drive. You can import videos you downloaded or imported as well. Simply open up iTunes and click "File" then "Add to Library," and now you can browse for the file.

  10. Step 10

    Add videos to your iPod. Connect your iPod and either add videos manually by dragging and dropping or set up your iPod to sync automatically.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can set up for one-click shopping. Change your store settings and you'll see a "Buy" button that will immediately purchase instead of sending to a shopping cart.
  • The iTunes Store is the easiest place to buy from, but you can find videos from other places on the Internet as well. Simply download them to your hard drive and import them.
