How to Load Photos to an iPod
An iPod has the ability to store and view photos. An iPod with color display and a picture screen gives you the opportunity to transfer, or "sync," photos from your computer, handheld or camera to your iPod. Here is how to load photos onto an iPod.

Connect your iPod to your computer as you normally would with the USB cable.

Access Photo Options in iTunes. Open this feature up through your computer by clicking on its icon on your desktop or in your documents.

Choose "Preferences" from the iTunes menu and notice the pop up tab that will appear.

Click on the iPod tab in the screen that now appears. This brings up the option to find the photos you are looking to load onto your iPod.

Select the "Photos" tab in the "iPod" pane.

Choose the "Synchronize Photos From" checkbox, and select either "iPhoto," "Choose Folder" or "Pictures" (as in your pictures folder).

Buy an iPod with video capability and a picture screen to save and view photos.
Use your iTunes music player to view photos before you load them into your iPod.
You cannot email photos from your iPod or transfer files to your iPod wirelessly.
