How to Load Photos to an iPod

An iPod has the ability to store and view photos. An iPod with color display and a picture screen gives you the opportunity to transfer, or "sync," photos from your computer, handheld or camera to your iPod. Here is how to load photos onto an iPod.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your iPod to your computer as you normally would with the USB cable.

    • 2

Access Photo Options in iTunes. Open this feature up through your computer by clicking on its icon on your desktop or in your documents.

    • 3

Choose "Preferences" from the iTunes menu and notice the pop up tab that will appear.

    • 4

Click on the iPod tab in the screen that now appears. This brings up the option to find the photos you are looking to load onto your iPod.

    • 5

Select the "Photos" tab in the "iPod" pane.

    • 6

Choose the "Synchronize Photos From" checkbox, and select either "iPhoto," "Choose Folder" or "Pictures" (as in your pictures folder).
