In case of a power cut or if you are camping in the woods, use batteries to turn on your JVC KS-SB200 Boombox and sway to your favorite music on Sirius Satellite Radio. Here is how to put the batteries into the JVC KS-SB200 Boombox for Sirius satellite radio.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 8 R20/D (13F) batteries of the same type
  • JVC KS-SB200 Boombox

Step1
Open the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the unit by pushing and pulling up the tabs.
Step2
Insert 8 R20/D (13F) batteries into the battery compartment by matching the polarity order marked on the compartment. Place the batteries in the following matching order: (2 and 5, 3 and 8, 4 and 7, and 1 and 6). Maintain the positive, negative order of the batteries as marked on the compartment.
Step3
Close the battery compartment cover.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remove the batteries when the unit is not running for a considered period of time to avoid the battery leakage or explosion.
  • Replace all eight batteries and not just one when you need to replace the batteries.
  • Avoid using different types of the batteries together.
