Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Press any button to turn on the iPod nano.

  2. Step 2

    Press the "Menu" button at the top of the click wheel.

  3. Step 3

    Run your finger lightly around the click wheel of the iPod nano to highlight different menu items.

  4. Step 4

    Press the button in the center to select the item you have highlighted.

  5. Step 5

    Press the click wheel to play or pause the selection.

  6. Step 6

    Rewind a selection by pressing and holding left on the click wheel. Press left on the click wheel to choose to the previous selection.

  7. Step 7

    Fast forward your current item by pressing and holding right on the click wheel. Press right on the click wheel to move to the next item on the play list.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you carry your iPod nano in your pocket, press the "Hold" switch to the hold position. This won’t interrupt your iPod nano.
  • Practice using the buttons and click wheel to increase familiarity with your iPod nano.
