After you store a number on your fax machine, you can dial it using one-touch buttons, speed dial codes or by searching the fax machine's phone book. Just follow the steps below to store a number on your fax machine.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Owner's manual
  • Fax machine

Step1
Press the “Speed Dial” button for about two seconds. The display shows “Speed (00-80)>##".
Step2
Enter a two-digit number, then press “Start/Enter”. Numbers from 00 to 09 can be used for one-touch dialing. The numbers 10 and up can be used for speed dialing.
Step3
Enter the fax number you want to store (up to 40 digits) and then press “Start/Enter". Should you hit a wrong number by mistake, use the “<” or “>” buttons to move the cursor under the digit, and then enter the correct digit.
Step4
Enter the name of the person (up to 20 characters) and press “Start/Enter”. Now, press “Cancel” to exit. The name and number you have entered will go in a phone book.
Step5
Print a phone book by pressing “Report/Help”. Then press “<” or “>” until “Phonebook” displays and press “Start/Enter”.

Tips & Warnings

  • Refer to the manual that came with your fax machine, as each fax machine will be a little bit different.
  • In case you can not remember which number you assigned to each code, you can print out the fax machine's phone book.
