Olympus Roamer 10x21 DPC I Compact Porro Prism Binocular
Step1
Grasp your binocular firmly in one hand and locate the attachment for the strap. There should be one attachment on each barrel to ensure stability.
Step2
Take the strap that came with your Olympus Porro Prism and inspect it to ensure that it is fully secure and functional.
Step3
Securely fasten the strap to both barrels. Confirm that it is not twisted.
Step4
Hang your binocular by the strap and allow the strap to take the strain. Doing so will enable you to see if the strap is secure enough to hold your binocular if it slips from your hand.
Step5
Adjust the strap as necessary, extending or shortening when needed.
Tips & Warnings
Also consider using a protective case for your Olympus Roamer 10x21 DPC I Compact Porro Prism Binocular, which will help protect your binocular from scratching and the elements when it is not in use.
Adjust the strap to a length that is slightly longer than necessary to allow the binocular to hang, which will enable you to grab it quickly should you spot something interesting to look at.
Check that the strap is firm and secure before you allow it to take the strain for an extended period. The strain test above in Step 4 is essential to ensure you don't end up dropping your binocular. Confirm that the strap is adjusted perfectly and is secured strongly enough to take the full weight of your binocular.
