Rather than individually erasing old photographs from your Celestron VistaPix binocular/digital camera, you can simultaneously erase all the photos. After developing or printing your photos, you can instantly free your memory to provide room for new photos.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Celestron VistaPix 8 x 32mm binocular and digital camera

Step1
Turn on your Celestron VistaPix. Hold down the "Power" button for about three seconds. Make sure the battery is adequately charged.
Step2
Press the "Menu" button.
Step3
Using the arrow keys, scroll to the "Play back" option. Press "Shutter/OK." Thumbnails of the photos residing in the memory will appear.
Step4
Press the "Delete" button in either the thumbnail view or full-screen image view.
Step5
Select "Erase all." Press the "Shutter/OK" button.

Tips & Warnings

  • To delete files with greater precision, use the "Erase one" option. This lets you delete files individually.
  • Protect specific files. Upload them to your computer, leaving only those you want to delete on the camera memory. Then, use "Delete all" to clear your camera memory.
  • Make sure you want to delete all the photos in your memory. Browse through all the stored photos to ensure you don't want to save any of them. You cannot retrieve deleted files.
