Selecting "Near Focus" on your binoculars customizes your device to fit your needs. All you have to do is follow these steps.

Things You'll Need:

  • Meade CaptureView CV-4 Digital Camera binoculars
  1. Step 1

    Turn the camera on. Press and hold the "Mode" button for 3 seconds.

  2. Step 2

    Maneuver the focus ring to the small illustration of a man.

  3. Step 3

    When you feel a click, continue to slightly turn the focus ring.

Tips & Warnings
  • Setting "Near Focus" neutralizes the focus knob.
  • If you cannot turn the focus ring to the left, your camera probably is already set to "Near Focus."
