1. Turn the camera on. Press and hold the "Mode" button for 3 seconds.

2. Maneuver the focus ring to the small illustration of a man.

3. When you feel a click, continue to slightly turn the focus ring.

Tips & Warnings

• Setting "Near Focus" neutralizes the focus knob.
• If you cannot turn the focus ring to the left, your camera probably is already set to "Near Focus."
