How to Attach the Star Pointer Finderscope to the Celestron FirstScope 114 Short Newtonian Equatorial Telescope

Attaching the Star Pointer Finderscope is one step in assembling your telescope. Follow these steps, and you will have the task accomplished in no time!

Things You’ll Need:

• Celestron FirstScope 114 Short Newtonian Equatorial telescope

1. Take the nuts out of the studs where you will be mounting the Finderscope.
   
   
2. Put the Star Pointer's bracket over the studs sticking out from the tube. Tighten the bracket with the nuts that came with your telescope. Make sure the glass window is facing the front of the tube.
