How to Use the Browser on Your Archos 104 MP3 Player to Find a File

The browser on your Archos 104 MP3 Player works just like the file system on your PC. You use it to navigate through folders and sub-folders. When connected to your PC, the Archos 104 can be used to drag-and-drop files you are transferring. The steps below will show you how easy it is to use the browser.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    To navigate through your directory, use the UP/DOWN controls on your navigation pad.

  2. Step 2

    Press ENTER to go into a highlighted folder or directory.

  3. Step 3

    Press MENU or click on the left control to come out of a folder or a directory.

  4. Step 4

    The CONTEXTUAL MENU button allows you to create, delete, rename or display information about files and folders.

  5. Step 5

    When navigating through your directory, you will have the option of using BROWSER MODE to perform all the options of the CONTEXTUAL MENU as well as copy or move files and folders from one location to another.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep the pre-defined folders DATA, MUSIC, PLAYLISTS and PICTURES. Renaming or deleting these may cause issues with locating files and folders.
